Child Car Seats and Booster Seats
Child Car Seats and Booster Seats are available for 3,000 yen per unit.
If you wish to use this service, please inform us at the time of booking.
*Under Japan’s Road Traffic Act, the use of child car seats and booster seats is not mandatory when traveling in a taxi or hire vehicle.
Therefore, children may ride in the vehicle without using a child car seat or booster seat.
Please note that, depending on traffic conditions or operational reasons on the day of service, child car seats may not be available.
In such cases, no additional fee will be charged. If payment has already been made, the amount will be refunded.
When making a reservation, please specify which type of seat you require:
① Infant Car Seat with Newborn Insert (for newborn babies)
② Infant/Child Car Seat without Newborn Insert
③ Booster Seat with Backrest (for children approximately 3 to 10 years old)
④ Backless Booster Seat (for children who require additional seat height)

A backless booster seat is placed on the vehicle seat to raise the child’s seating height.
This allows the seat belt to fit properly across the shoulder, even for smaller children.
Child car seats are disinfected after each use.
Our staff are also trained in the proper installation and handling of child car seats.

Brief stops can be made free of charge for purposes such as diaper changes or breastfeeding.
This service is available for passengers traveling with children.
★ TV and DVD entertainment is available for young children.
You can watch terrestrial TV and DVDs on the flip-down monitor.
A selection of DVDs for children is also available.
A portable DVD player can also be provided so that small children can enjoy watching during the ride.

Charging cables for various devices are available.
We provide a variety of mobile phone charging adapters (iPhone, USB-C, and Micro-USB) as well as standard power outlets. Please feel free to use them.

Under the Road Traffic Law, the obligation to use car seats is exempted for taxi use.
It's possible to operate a Taxi/Hire even if your child doesn't use car seats.

We would like to ride with four adults and three children under the age of 12, for a total of seven people.If all children use car seats, there won't be enough seats for everyone, because the standard minivan can seat up to six people, so will we not be able to use taxis?

Under the Road Traffic Law, three children are counted as two adults, so there will be a total of six adults, and it is possible for everyone to ride.However, as there are not enough seats to install car seats for all children, you will be required to use the service without a car seat.
